Dr. Geraldine Cochran (she/her) is an Associate Professor of Physics at The Ohio State University where she directs the Physics Equity and Access Research Lab (PEARL). As a physics education researcher, Cochran engages in equity-oriented, discipline-based STEM education research with a goal of identifying, eliminating, and mitigating the negative impact of practices and policies in physics spaces that are unjust or unfair. Cochran brings to this project expertise in utilizing intersectionality theory and approaches in STEM Education research and practice and experience conducting equity-oriented research on graduate education in physics.
